Due to the City of Chicago’s cancellation of the South Side Irish Parade, the Emerald Isle Mile is also being cancelled.

About This Event

The one-mile, chip-timed runs down Western Avenue at 11:30 am, a half hour before the South Side Irish Parade begins.

Registration is $25. Online registration is open through March 12. You may also register on race day between 10 and 11 am IF our cap of 500 runners has not yet been reached.

The Emerald Isle Run is a fun event, but it’s also a fundraiser to support the South Side Irish Parade. A portion of the proceeds are donated to offset parade costs. For more details about the parade, visit the South Side Irish Parade website.

The race starts and finishes at 104th and Western Avenue.
